Steve Garrett
Owner / CEO
Cinematographer - D.P.

Steve Garrett began his career studying television and film at Washington State University, where he received B.A.'s in both Broadcast Journalism and Television Production. While enrolled, Steve was active in the television world working on, and eventually directing episodic television shows and local newscasts throughout the state of Washington.

After moving to Hollywood, Steve found his place in the entertainment industry as a Cinematographer and has never looked back. Today Steve has worked on over 100 television shows, 25 commercials, and several features and short films. Steve's primary focus is in the field of 24p Hi-Definition, with specialized experience in Commercials, and 1/2 hour Scripted Comedy/Sketch Comedy. Steve is an active member of the International Cinematographers Guild, IATSE-Local 600. Steve's eye for lighting and composition as well as his friendly attitude has earned him an excellent reputation throughout the entertainment industry.

 

"Sam" Wilson
Owner / CFO
Sound Mixer

Sam Wilson has been running small businesses in various industries since the age of 15. She chose to further her education by attending C.S.U., where she Graduated "Magna Cum Laude" and received her B.S. in "Business Administration". Sam utilized that ambitious Business experience, and ever since has been an integral part of the inception and growth of GQC Entertainment, Inc. In addition to holding GQC's office together, Sam also runs GQC's Sound Dept. and works on Set as a Sound Mixer & Boom Op. Not only is Sam Wilson one of those Rare female Sound Mixers in this business. But those who have worked with her will attest that she is so much more. Sam is dedicated to mastering her craft as a Sound Mixer, and she is also a firm believer of 'Teamwork' on set; using most of her free time assisting other departments to help maintain a smooth running set. Sam is an active member of the IATSE-Local 695 Sound Union. And her reputation of Organization, Professionalism, and Teamwork make her an asset to any crew!

 

Gussie Miller
Rental Manager / Business Development

Gussie comes from a wealth of rental and sales experience. Since 1992 his professional experience is wide and varied, having worked for such rental companies as ATK-Audiotek, Location Sound Corporation and co-managing the audio department at Wexler Video Inc. Also as an experienced audio engineer, technician and music mixer; his clients have included, NASA-JPL TV, Playtone, Black Sunday Films, The John Tesh Radio Show, and composer clients Marcus Miller and Mike Post.

 

Bryant Duncan
Operations Tech / 1st AC

Bryant hails from the great city of Austin, Texas where he went to school and graduated from the University of Texas. Shortly after earning a Master's degree in Technical Communication, Bryant heeded the long pervasive call out to the West Coast to enjoy the unbeatable Southern California weather. Since his emigration to Los Angeles, Bryant has worked on numerous TV and Film productions which started six years ago on a little show called Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on ABC. Since then, Bryant has amassed a long list of TV and Film productions under his belt utilizing the skills and experience he has gained throughout his career. He brings that experience, dedication and attention to detail to GQC Entertainment where he oversees the maintenance of all the camera and audio gear rentals. He has had the privilege to work with some of the best and most creative people in the industry and is excited to be a part of the talented and awesome GQC team.
